This photo gallery represents the southwest desert, within a days drive from Las Vegas, Nevada. This is my photo opportunity range used to select the areas to be photographed. I pay close attention to detail, time of day for best light, a sky that is a beautiful adding to the ambiance of the scene and what the average viewer misses when they see these places too quickly. Yes, while traveling, slowing down and smelling the Roses definitely is where discovery begins. I feel so blessed to have witnessed so many wonderful places close to where I live. I have a new affinity and appreciation for the place I call home. I never dreamed a camera would take me so far, in such a short amount of time.
