Wildlife Portfolio

Photographing wildlife in the southwest as many of the wildlife only come out at night and the day animals are very shy, everything that moves in the desert is on someones menu. I never go out expecting to photograph wildlife, there are too many variables working against you. But that being said, when I go on a landscape photography safari, my wildlife camera and lens is always bu my side for the rare moment the opportunity arises.
My favorite shots are when the animals are in their natural environment and looking me in the eye. The light is rarely perfect, the camera has to be preset as the time for that takeaway shot is very small. As they say it’s over in a flash. I am thankful for the images I have taken and look forward to my next encounter.
